Prepare for an afternoon of adventures and world travels! Anne and Dr. Martin will be opening with an exquisite & exciting cantabile and presto by the Romanian composer George Enescu.
She will then be joined by Kurt Hunter and Bobbi Janiro for a German trio. Next, ride the waves with the musical retelling of Undine, the water spirit who married a knight so she could receive a soul. Be roused out of the watery dreamworld by Bobbi and Anne who will play a game of lightning fast Hungarian tag. The duo will then take you across the ocean to the shores of America with a fun patriotic duet written over 150 years ago. As you near the end of your adventure, a rhythmic piece entitled Move It will make you want out get out and move, but first there is an adventure with Agent Squirrel and Hans the contrabass flute. Your travels will end with a soaring work for flute and piano by American composer Eldin Burton. An afternoon that is guaranteed to whisk you away!
