Calling all animal-loving kids!Animal Kids Camp at Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center is a hands-on day camp for kids ages 6–13 who want to learn more about animals, veterinary care, shelter work, and what it means to be kind, compassionate animal advocates.
This year’s theme, Future Vets, Saving Pets!, gives campers a fun and age-appropriate look into the world of animal care. Campers will spend time learning about adoptable pets, animal behavior, veterinary tools, pet check-ups, shelter medicine, and how animals are cared for in shelters, clinics, farms, and wildlife settings.
Each week includes a mix of animal-themed activities, crafts, games, guest speakers, STEM-based learning, and closely supervised interactions with animals. Campers may also enjoy behind-the-scenes learning experiences, including a tour of our on-site veterinary clinic and opportunities to meet animal care professionals.
Whether your child dreams of becoming a veterinarian, working with animals, or simply wants to spend time learning about pets, Animal Kids Camp is a fun and meaningful way to inspire compassion, responsibility, and a lifelong love for animals.

Financial assistance may be available through the Humane Education Scholarship Fund for families who need support.
