Anglo-Saxon Woodworking Techniques 3 (SF2603)

Anglo-Saxon Woodworking Techniques (Taster Session 3) - During this one hour session you will try four different Anglo-Saxon woodworking techniques:

1. Using an Anglo-Saxon spoon auger to make similar holes to those in the ship
2. Using a froe to split a log
3. Using scaled down materials to rivet up two pieces of planking
4. Using a draw knife to shape a wooden peg in the same way we make the ship's trenails

Each ticket will be exchanged for four vouchers; vouchers can be used by an individual, shared by two people (two activities each) or shared between a family of four (one activity each).

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session, as events will start promptly.
