Internationally acclaimed violinist Andrew Sords joins CMSM Artistic Director and pianist Cheryl Duvall to open the Chamber Music Society of Mississauga’s 2026–27 Signature Series.
Longtime collaborators, Andrew and Cheryl have been making music together for 16 years, developing an extraordinary shared repertoire and a musical partnership marked by virtuosity, spontaneity, warmth, and an unmistakable connection on stage.
For this special opening concert, the duo will draw from some of their favourite works from across those 16 years of collaboration. Expect an engaging and varied evening showcasing the expressive range of the violin and piano repertoire, from dazzling virtuosity and soaring lyricism to intimate musical conversations.
After years of performances together across Canada and beyond, Andrew and Cheryl return to the CMSM stage with the kind of musical chemistry that comes from a longstanding artistic partnership and a shared love of bringing great music to audiences.
