Join the Andy McGann Comhaltas branch as they present "You Have Lost America by the Irish": Irish and Irish-Americans in the American Revolution Through History and Music.
Could the American Revolution Have Been Won without their (Irish and Irish-American) participation? Come and Find Out!
This engaging program will present the important part the Irish and Irish-Americans played in the formation of America and its War of Independence from Great Britain! Historian and Comhaltas member Bill Devlin will explain the history via a Powerpoint presentation, with songs and music from the period presented by the musicians of our branch. Learn about the brave Irish and Irish-Americans who fought for our country's freedom, and the contributions they made to form America!
This program takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026 starting at 2 pm, at the Danbury Museum & Historical Society, 43 Main Street in Danbury, CT. All are welcome, and admission is free.
