JAMES A. WEHN: MASTER OF PORTRAITS IN SCULPTURE

This special exhibition of sculpture and medallions by Seattle's "First Sculptor" James A. Wehn, will be on public view just one more week at Pioneer Hall in Seattle. Over a dozen examples of Wehn's artistry are on view, including one of his 1953 Washington Territorial Centennial medal in bronze.
This special exhibition was launched in 2025 by the Pioneer Association of Washington State, and will next travel to the Special Collections, University of Washington Libraries, for display June 21, 2027, to September 17, 2027.
This exhibition was made possible in part by a 2026 Open Heritage Grant award from 4culture of King county.
