Meet Jane Watkins from the award-winning Watkins Stained Glass Studio. She’ll share her family’s long history of making and repairing stained glass. She’ll also talk about restoring the stained glass windows at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Greeley. Visitors will learn how stained glass is made and restored and will get to see examples of their work.
About the Presenters:
Phil and Jane Watkins run Watkins Stained Glass Studio. Their family has been creating and repairing stained glass since 1761 in England, and in Colorado since 1868. They make stained glass windows for churches, homes, businesses, and mausoleums. They still use the same methods their family started with in the 1700s. In May 2026, Colorado Preservation, Inc. gave them the Sage Award for their work in preserving historic places in the state. To learn more about their studio, you can attend the presentation or visit the Watkins Stained Glass Studio website.
