Big Boy Stoping at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum!

Big Boy 4014 will be stopping at the railroad crossing on 10th Street right outside of the museum! We are very fortunate to have them stopping so close to us. We do not schedule this. This is just a good location for their maintenance stop. We are not affiliated with Union Pacific.

The museum will be open and selling 4014 merchandise. We do have items for sale now in our gift shop.
The stop is scheduled for 1:15 PM to 2:00PM. 10th street will be closed prior to the event. Have an alternate route across the tracks planned. Our parking lot will be past the street closure, so we will have it closed. Plan on parking in nearby city lots and on the street. There may be road construction going in the area as well. Allow yourself time to arrive and walk over.
We will have our volunteers helping with keeping people safe-25 feet back, and helping to create a photo line. Union Pacific Special Agents are usually on hand to help as well.
We can’t wait to see the world’s largest running steam locomotive again!
