About this Event

Join WUCF for a special screening of The American Revolution : Voices & Visions of 1776, a unique preview clip that explores the Revolutionary era through the lenses of art, music, literature, and filmmaking.

This specially curated screening reel features selected excerpts from the series, highlighting the creative works, cultural voices, and cinematic storytelling that brings this pivotal period in American history to life.

Following the screening, attendees are invited to stay for a community discussion and talk-back led by Dr. Keri Watson of the University of Central Florida. The conversation will explore how history is recorded, interpreted, and remembered through visual culture and the arts, offering an opportunity for audience questions and reflection.

Light bites and refreshments will be available during the event. We look forward to welcoming community members for a morning of history, storytelling, and discussion.
