Independence Day Celebration

Commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with free admission to the Morse Museum on July 4th weekend. From Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5, the Museum invites the community to explore the galleries at no cost. The celebration kicks off Friday with extended hours from 9:30 a.m.–11 p.m., and live music from 9–11 p.m. Saturday (9:30 a.m.–4 p.m.) features live music from 1–4 p.m.
Visits during the Independence Day Celebration include a once-a-year opportunity to view a cream jug by Paul Revere (1734–1818) and a baseball autographed by legends Babe Ruth (1895–1948), Ty Cobb (1886–1961), Lou Gehrig (1903–41), as well as Central Florida resident and baseball great Joe Tinker (1880–1948).
