About this Event

I grew up in the church as a “PK” — a preacher’s kid. LOL! And if you know anything about that life, you know it meant a LOT of church. Sundays were all-day events, Wednesdays were Bible study, Fridays were youth service, and ALL NIGHT PRAYER was exactly that… all night! LOL!

At the time, it felt like a lot, but now I realize those experiences laid a foundation in me that I deeply value. As I got older and developed my own personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Bible became more than words on a page — it became a love letter. I truly fell in love with Jesus, and it changed my life.

As my walk with Christ grew, I also began noticing how many people struggle with what it actually looks like to live out their faith daily. How do you apply God’s Word to real-life struggles? How do you keep the faith when life gets hard? And too often, people are given “church talk” instead of real, practical encouragement.

Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” Many people share the victory, but few talk about the messy middle — the real-life process of walking through hardship while still trusting God. And yet, I truly believe it’s in that middle where so much healing, encouragement, and freedom happens. I believe people would be strengthened, inspired, and reminded they are not alone if we were willing to TELL THE WHOLE TESTIMONY.

Last year, Consecrated Creations began ending our brunches with conversation cards that opened the door for honest conversations, encouragement, and connection. Time after time, people left saying, “I really needed this.”

That’s where TELLING OF THE TESTIMONIES was born — a monthly buffet breakfast centered around one question:

What does that look like?”

What does living Christ-like actually look like in everyday life?
