"Stillness and Contemplation = Resting and Reflecting" with Bob Ellwood + Monthly Potluck

In this talk, Bob will share with you what he has learned about Resting and Reflecting. To be still, simply to be present with what is, without resistance, is how Spirit rests. To contemplate, to hold in mind an idea or intention, is how our Spirit reflects. There is no doing involved. I repeat, there is no doing involved!!! Which is very different than the ego’s idea of resting and reflecting, which we will have some fun with on Nov. 1st. Hope to see you there, Noah.
Meet Bob:
Bob is a seeker of truth who has been on his own spiritual journey for more than thirty years. As a result of his passion for knowledge and understanding and his many years of service to a higher purpose (a higher purpose that he is just now starting to realize after almost 70 years of living on this planet) he is finally beginning to see how important it is to live a spiritual life first and foremost. For him, this is the path to a happy life and a better world for all.
AFTER THE TALK...
please invite a friend or two to enjoy nourishing food and conversation.
We lovingly ask everyone to bring your own mug, plate, and utensils to our monthly potluck. It’s a simple way to support our kitchen volunteers and keep things flowing with ease. Thank you!
Speaking of bringing food.... for our weekly Sunday Experience, food contributions are gratefully accepted. Without your baking/goodies, there may be nothing to enjoy on Sunday mornings!
