"SHAKESPEARE UNFOLDED" Performance Workshop Spring 2026 with Tom Haine

TOM HAINE, Actor, Director, and founder of the San Diego Shakespeare Society, will be teaching our 6 week "Shakespeare Unfolded" acting workshop. This "all levels" Shakespeare acting class will give you the tools to speak, understand and act Shakespeare through rehearsal and performance. You’ll explore the basic tenets of speaking Shakespeare’s verse while performing monologues, soliloquies, sonnets and scenes from his greatest plays and poems.​ At the conclusion of the workshop, we will have a showcase performance at the Point Loma Playhouse for your friends and family to show how ready you are for your Royal Shakespeare Company audition.Two goals of the class: 1) to have a blast; and 2) to appreciate the poetry of the greatest playwright of all times.
