"Sea Breeze" - Steam Train Dublin - Wexford

Sea Breeze - Heritage Train Special - Sunday 29th March 2026.

Join us on board for a fun day out on the rails on board our heritage carriages hauled by our recently restored steam locomotive number 171 Slieve Gullion as we travel to Wexford Town from Dublin Connolly.

The route to Wexford will take us along arguably Ireland's most scenic railway line - the sunny south-east from Dublin to Wexford, a route offering views of tunnels, cliffsides, beaches, forests and rivers.

This is a full day out from Dublin. Our expected departure will be at 10:40 from Dublin Connolly. The journey to Wexford will take approximately 3 hours with a brief stop in Gorey along the way. Alighting in Wexford 13:50 passengers will have just under 3 hours to explore the town enjoying the many shops, cafés, restaurants and bars the town has to offer.

Our return departure from Wexford will be at 16:20 with an arrival time back into Dublin Connolly for 19:30.

We have a snack car on board and for the adults a full bar serving draught Guinness and selection of beers, wines, prosecco, spirits and much more. Great craic is guaranteed. Bring your friends and family along for a fun Sunday day out!

Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE once purchased.

If travelling as part of a group - you MUST make one booking to be seated together. Seating requests cannot be made after.

You will receive your tickets by email as soon as your booking goes through. These are you tickets which you must print off for inspection on the day.

Seating allocations will be emailed, no later than 3 days before departure. Please check your emails.

Children aged 2 and under can travel free of charge on their parent's lap.

Child Tickets are valid for 3 - 17 year old's inclusive.
