City of Newton and Choose Newton are excited to bring fireworks back as we celebrate our country’s 250th birthday! 🎆
Join us Friday, July 3 at Athletic Park (north of the football stadium near the bandshell) for an evening of hometown fun. Enjoy food, drinks, yard games, a kids zone, activities, and live music-all leading up to a spectacular fireworks show to end the night.
Live music kicks off at 7 p.m. in the bandshell, with the main act at 8 p.m. on Fischer Field. Come early, bring your chairs and blankets, and settle in for the evening.
Be sure to check out the Mexican American Men’s Fastpitch Tournament on the south side of the park. It’s opening night of a full weekend of exciting action for this long-standing community tradition! https://www.facebook.com/NewtonMAAC
🎉 It’s been more than a decade since Newton has celebrated the Fourth like this, and we’re excited to bring it back in a big way!
