Don't miss this special screening of documentary Portia White: Think on Me by filmmaker Sylvia Hamilton at the Archives of Ontario. A part of the Canada Black Music Archive's Black History Month programming, dive into the inspiring story of Portia White, the internationally renowned contralto whose legacy continues to shine.

The evening will include a panel discussion hosted by Professor Mark Campbell of the University of Toronto and Northside Hip Hop and will give the opportunity for participants to explore the CBMA's B'LACK Then: Muted Melodies exhibit, which dives into the untold stories of Black Ontarian artists. Sylvia Hamilton will also be in attendance, adding rare insight into the film.
