New York, New York was originated as a stage play, which was selected to compete at the prestigious Gene Frankel Theatre Festival in New York this summer. Following its successful theatrical run, we adapted the story into a short film, with both of us reprising our leading roles. The film was directed by Erick del Aguila (Two-Year Conservatory '25), also features Anthony Hill (Two-Year Conservatory '25), and was produced by us in collaboration with Red Door Productions, a production company founded by Strasberg alumni.

About the Venue

The Marilyn Monroe Theatre is LSTFI's proscenium theatre and screening space, named for the iconic student of Lee Strasberg. The Theatre is located on the 1st floor, accessible entry is available. Please reach out if you have any questions about accessibility.

Public restrooms are located on the 2nd floor, please ask the front desk for information regarding accesible restrooms. Access to the other parts of the building is not permitted.
