"New Horizons in Civics Education" : A Workshop for Educators
About this Event
Attendees will walk away with new curricular resources to supplement their existing civics curriculum. The program primarily focuses on middle school and high school educators, but elementary educators are also encouraged to attend, as curricular materials can be adapted to serve younger age groups. Homeschool educators and teachers in training are also very welcome. Anyone who is interested in civics education rooted in history, culture, law, and economics should attend.
A light breakfast will be provided along with a boxed lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Please see the agenda below. Each session will include plenty of time for Q&A. This workshop is meant to be conversational.
