About this Event

Mija, Make Your Movie is an intimate film screening, filmmaker conversation, and creative mixer created to inspire and empower Latinas interested in telling stories through film.

The evening features the award-winning short Somewhere You Feel Free, followed by a Q&A with writer-director Jenny De La Fuente about her filmmaking journey, Latina representation, and practical first steps for moving a film idea forward. Guests will also receive exclusive advance access to register for an upcoming short-film workshop.
