"How Sweet It Is To Sew With You - a UFO Retreat - June 3-7, 2024

Sewing tables - Each person will have their own 2’ x 4’ table. Due to limited space, we ask that you do not bring your own tables. If you would like to have a tray table for extra space or pressing we do have some of those available. If you need your personal sewing chair, feel free to bring it. The Retreat Center has design walls by the sewing tables. We do have assigned seating for sewing, so if you are traveling with friends and would like to sit together to sew please indicate that on the registration form. You will also be able to choose if you would like to use one of our sewing machines . If you need further assistance please contact: j[email protected]

Meals - - For this retreat, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served Tuesday through Thursday. A continental breakfast will be available on Friday morning before check out. Our continental breakfast consists of cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, yogurt, cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit. All of our breakfasts begin at 7:30 am. Lunches are served at 12:00 pm with dinner served at 6:00 pm. You will be on your own for dinner on Monday evening.

Snack Table - Join us at the snack sharing table where you're welcome to bring your preferred snacks to share. We've got coffee, tea, water, and ice at your disposal. Feel free to bring along any additional beverages you fancy. The kitchen area is available for your use, excluding meal serving times. Equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, the kitchen is here for your convenience. A Keurig is also provided; simply bring your favorite K-Cup. (Please note that the Retreat Center has transitioned to using all paper products.) Kindly be considerate of others and ensure the kitchen is tidied up after use.

Show & Tell - We will have a Show & Tell time each Thursday night for those who want to participate.

Shipping - Shipping is Free for all Retreat Guests within the Continental United States. There will be a small fee associated with shipping Internationally.

Location - The Missouri Star Quilt Co. is situated just 15 minutes east of I-35, along MO Hwy 36, approximately 60 miles north of Kansas City. For those arriving by air, Kansas City International Airport is the recommended destination. If you choose to fly in, a local shuttle service in Hamilton is available to pick you up and transport you to Quilt Town USA.

Sleep Accommodations:

In our retreat center, we offer various sleep accommodations to cater to different needs:

• Upstairs in the main Retreat Center, there are 8 bedrooms with 3-5 beds per room, allowing for shared arrangements. These rooms collectively share 6 communal restrooms, each equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. This setup provides a communal yet comfortable sleeping arrangement for guests on the second floor.
• Additionally, there are 2 rooms downstairs designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities or for individuals who may face challenges with stairs, each having its own restroom for added convenience.

PLEASE NOTE:

Handicapped Rooms will read "Sales Ended" online. You must call Jessica @ 720-338-8416 to reserve one of the two rooms.

All rooms upstairs are shared rooms. NO PRIVATE ROOMS.

Ages 18 and over please.

Rooms are assigned to individuals who purchased tickets to that room. In the case of male retreaters, we ask that these men agree to be reassigned to our handicap room or our Mini Retreat facility. Missouri Star Quilt Co. continues to explore retreat offerings that meet our customer’s interests and demands. We hope you will consider joining one of our retreats!

• Sewing machine (optional, we do have machines available to use)

• Basic Sewing Notions: Rotary cutter, templates, scissors, pins & thread.
• Snacks and/or your favorite beverage
• Casual, comfy attire

• REFUND POLICY: This is a NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION with less than a sixty day notice. In the event that you register and are unable to come, you may transfer this registration to someone else or move this registration to a future retreat.
