"Foodie" CLAY Summer Camp (for Ages 6-10) MORNING

Does your enjoy food? Perhaps he or she loves to cook or bake? In this Art Camp, students who have a special appreciation for all things gastronomic will get an opportunity to make clay sculptures inspired by their favorite foods! (Past projects include: Clay donuts, clay avocados, clay lemons, and clay ice cream cones!) Clay Handbuilding techniques that will be covered include: pinch pots, slab construction and coils.
PLEASE NOTE: All Clay pieces must be left to dry in the studio and will be bisque fired and glaze fired in our studio kilns. Please check your email from our booking platform “SAWYERTOOLS or “HISAWYER” for messages that your child’s clay pieces are ready for pick up (usually within 3 weeks of the camp).

We encourage students to wear clothes they don't mind getting messy in!
