About this Event

Join curator Elizabeth Rice Mattison and Barbara Will, Vice Provost for Academic and International Affairs, A. and R. Newbury Professor of English, and Interim Director of the Hood Museum, for a discussion about artistic exchange in 1920s Paris. Drawing on works in the exhibition “Community and Exile: Artists in Paris, 1910-1939”, this program will highlight the immigrant narratives of Pablo Picasso, Gertrude Stein, Ernest Hemingway, and Léonard Foujita among many others.
