Grace Community Church invites you to a special outreach service and time of fellowship! A very special event at Grace that you should put on your calendar.
The service is FREE and open to the public. Grace Community Church is offering this special, musically-rich outreach service in the Evensong tradition as a gesture of light and comfort to all in the community who are grieving the loss of loved ones and searching for hope. This unique celebration of “All-Saint’s Day” comes at a time when various fall celebrations have passed and the days are getting darker and colder. Our hearts and minds begin to turn toward the Advent of Jesus Christ and the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Our prayer is that the impact of the gospel, the power of prayer, and the beauty of music will highlight the hope we have for an eternity in and with Christ because of His ultimate and supreme sacrifice and resurrection. A fine choral work will be offered by our Sanctuary Choir combined with guest singers, the beloved “Requiem” by John Rutter, as well as the opportunity for all in attendance to sing praises to the Lord through traditional and contemporary hymns and songs. A free-will offering will be taken to support the ministries of Grace Community Church. Please join us as we celebrate the scripture that states:
“The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not overcome it.” - John 1:5. See less
