Imagine 6 specially chosen colors that will result in mixes that give you the most vibrant colors and avoid muddiness. Artists use these colors to make secondary colors to show brightness, intensity, nuanced color, shadows, and atmospheric perspective/distance, among other things. Learn what colors combine to portray bright sun, cloudy days, cast shadows and shady places. You will broaden your color options using a limited—but specially chosen—palette of colors.
Color theory is the same for all paint media so come prepared to paint in the medium of your choice as Alex gets you on your path to perfect color mixing!
SKILL LEVEL:
This class requires zero experience. It is perfect for beginners, or for students with experience wanting a brush-up or refresher of color theory!
REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.
If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.
