"Botanical Impressions" Gelli Plate Printing with Nature
Saturday, July 18, 2026 – 10 AM to 12:00 PM
$65 per person – All materials will be provided for use in this class. Beginner class limited to 6 participants
In this fun, creative, beginner-friendly class we will be creating beautiful botanical prints using Gelli plates! You’ll learn how to capture the delicate details, textures, and natural shapes of leaves, flowers, and other plant materials through the magic of Gelli plate printing.
We’ll explore different techniques for arranging botanicals, layering colors, and creating unique one-of-a-kind prints. These stunning papers are perfect for art journals, collage, mixed-media projects, greeting cards, framed art, and so much more. Botanical printing on Gelli plates is a wonderful way to bring the beauty of nature into your artwork while building a collection of decorative papers for future projects.
This shorter, focused class will include step-by-step demonstration, plenty of guided practice, and hands-on time for you to create several beautiful botanical prints to take home. All materials (Gelli plates, brayers, paints, papers, and a selection of fresh botanicals) will be available for use during this class.
Space is limited to just 6 participants for a more personal and supportive experience. Come ready to play and get inspired by nature!
