In partnership with Campus Theatre and presented though a grant from The Community Giving Foundation, we will be offering a FREE Showing of “The Best Years of our Lives” at the Theatre in Lewisburg, PA on November 23rd at 2:00 PM. “The Best Years of our Lives” is a fictional tale based on real events, featuring three World War II Veterans facing a number of challenges as they re-enter civilian life after their service during war. The 1946 Drama directed by William Wyler was one of the first ever portrayals in media of the struggles of war veterans after their time on the physical battlefields had ended. The film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry in 1989 for being “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant”.
