GEISINGER DEVMED SENSORY-FRIENDLY SCREENINGS: Sponsored by the newly branded Geisinger Department of Developmental Medicine Geisinger (DevMed) in partnership with The Campus Theatre. Sensory-Friendly screenings provide a comfortable and accepting environment for children with special developmental needs, their families, and those who want to get up, move around, or make noise; feature family friendly movies, with lowered volume of music/special effects; provide low-level lighting, instead of total darkness, and shown in OPEN CAPTION. THE WILD ROBOT: The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot--ROZZUM unit 7134, "Roz" for short -- that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
