CHIEF MAPU HUNI KUIN
Chief Mapu Huni Kuin is an esteemed leader of the Huni Kuin people, an Indigenous community rooted deep in the Brazilian Amazon. A powerful voice for ancestral wisdom and ecological preservation, Mapu serves as a cultural ambassador dedicated to safeguarding the spiritual traditions, healing practices, and sacred knowledge of his lineage. Through his leadership, he champions the vital role Indigenous communities play in protecting the Amazon rainforest—one of Earth’s most critical ecosystems.
In addition to his work as a guardian of the forest, Mapu is a globally recognized musician and storyteller. He gained international acclaim for his collaboration on The Future is Ancestral, a Grammy-nominated album produced by Alok—Brazil’s iconic DJ and music producer known for bridging global electronic sounds with social impact. The project artfully weaves Indigenous chants and teachings with contemporary music, amplifying the urgency of spiritual ecology and climate consciousness.
Mapu’s presence also reached Brazilian television audiences through his appearance on a nationally broadcast soap opera, where he introduced millions to Indigenous ways of life and philosophies. Whether on stage, on screen, or in ceremony, Mapu Huni Kuin stands as a luminous bridge between worlds—bringing ancient truths into modern light, and advancing a future where Indigenous leadership and the health of the Amazon are recognized as central to the survival of all life on Earth.
Giselle World is an international medicine woman, performing and recording artist & composer, who is also recognized for her musical healing contributions in the medicine community via singing and her flute working with various different Native American tribes, organizations, and ceremonies.

Giselle is an advocate for indigenous rights, as well as sharing about indigenous wisdom and culture all over the world using music as the main tool by teaching about the cultures through workshops and song circles. She has also been a Humanities Professor in the university for over a decade.
Giselle has been invited to the United Nations on 2 different occasions, as a speaker on a panel for Indigenous Mental Health, and to open ceremony and sing for World Oceans Day.
Giselle is on a mission to bring unity & consciousness to our earth and purpose as humans through plant medicine and music connecting people to the frequency of our Pachamama in all kinds of settings throughout our beautiful Mother Earth.
