A slight departure from our normal Honey Bee events but but Martin our founder was a big fan and would have agreed that something of this magnitude and relevance should be remembered and celebrated.
Join us for a celebration of 50 years since The Clash played their first ever gig at Sheffield's own Black Swan(Mucky Duck,Board Walk).
You are invited to a complete evening of Clash related music live and recorded.
All kicks off from 6PM where the house band for the evening Protex Blue will be performing an guerrilla acoustic set of Clash tunes on the steps of the Board Walk. Bring your own instrument if you know any tunes or just sing along with the crowd.
Then decamp to The Harlequin where we have an acoustic set from Sheffield artist Cold Bone Lullabies who was actually present at the gig(were you? come and join us}
The house band for the night Protex Blue will be taking to the stage playing the the whole of the Clash's first album in full.
Add to that various DJ sets of punk and new wave music will be the order of the night.
Hoping that as we move the evening will evolve if we have anymore people coming on board so watch out for details as we go forward.
