Fame Under Fire
About this Event
Fame Under Fire is a BBC podcast hosted by Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty, scrutinising the biggest celebrity stories and interrogating the narratives that shape them. This is not a showbiz gossip podcast, but we do have a laugh.
Blending legal analysis with cultural context, we track how reputations are built, challenged and, at times, dismantled in real time.
We tackle misinformation at the heart of celebrity coverage too. The series builds on the success of Diddy on Trial, which reached number one in the Apple podcast charts and established a distinctive, fact-led approach to covering high-profile legal cases involving global figures.
That reporting style now underpins a broader slate of ongoing coverage at the intersection of fame, power and the law.
Fame under Fire takes serious themes, without taking itself too seriously. Come and join us.
Tickets for the BBC Fringe are completely free. You can reserve seats for individual shows. Do note that entry on the day will be first-come, first-served, even with a ticket, so we recommend arriving early to secure your place.
As tickets are free, people often request more than they need, so we have to issue more tickets than there are seats available to allow for this. Entry into the show is on a first come, first served basis, and is not guaranteed.
