They thought that sound, music, and certain frequencies could have healing or spiritual effects. For example, the use of specific tones in meditation or rituals (like the solfeggio frequencies) is sometimes referred to as "ancient frequencies." These frequencies were thought to resonate with certain chakras or energies within the body and the universe.
