When your voice is an integral part of your job, it’s important to ensure its health and longevity. Vocal coaches, singing teachers, and choir directors have a high ‘vocal load’ compared to most other professions. This can lead to increased risk of vocal fatigue and injury. Not only do they need vocal stamina, they also need their voices to be of a consistently high quality over long days of singing.
This practical workshop for early career singing teachers, vocal coaches and choir directors will give you tools to:
✅ Increase vocal efficiency and reduce fatigue so you can teach better for longer.
✅ Recognise warning signs of vocal fatigue and know when to seek help.
✅ Help your own students build vocal efficiency and stamina.
This workshop is designed specifically for singing teachers in the first five (5) years of their teaching careers. Content will focus on foundational teaching skills, practical strategies and topics relevant to those who are beginning to establish their teaching practice.
Please note that Early Career Teacher workshops are introductory in nature and are not intended as professional development for experienced singing teachers. We encourage experienced teachers to explore other workshop sessions that offer content more suited to their level of teaching experience.
