Bri Pippens Artist Talk:
Bri is currently our ARTCELERATE featured artist at our Georgetown location and will conduct an artist talk following the workshop 12:30pm - 1:30pm. Join us for an artist Q&A to learn more about her artistic process and the exhibit! Event details linked here.
About the Exhibit:
This body of work explores what it means to grow through life rather than arrive somewhere fixed. Across illustration, painting, and fiber, Bri Pippens centers quiet, introspective moments, the ones that often go unseen but shape us the most, while also making space for joy as a grounding and intentional part of the journey. The figures within these works exist in states of reflection, connection, and becoming, holding both softness and strength at once.
Color, texture, and repetition act as a language of their own, echoing the emotional layers we carry and how we evolve over time. Some pieces lean into stillness, while others suggest movement and change, creating a visual rhythm that mirrors the nonlinear nature of growth.
At its core, this exhibition is an offering of space, to pause, to feel, and to recognize yourself within the work. It invites viewers to consider where they are, where they’ve been, and the quiet ways they continue to move forward.
