A 2-hour guided tour of one of Britain's best preserved Victorian sites. This event is intended for those who have visited the Fort in the past and wish to return for a more in-depth visit. First-time may prefer to join events on 21st February or 26th June
Admission will be by advance ticket only and cost £5 per person. Tickets are on sale now and a limited number of car parking spaces will also be available for £2.50 per vehicle. Under 5s do not require a ticket and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
The format of the day is simple. Meet at 10am in the Guardroom where we will summarise a few key facts in an introductory lecture. Uniformed tour guides will lead the group around the Fort highlighting important historic features and concluding with a display of historic firearms on the Parade Ground.
