An hour of readings from , co-published with Bidoun. From poems to essays, pieces from the book will be read by Eileen Myles, Lynne Tillman, Ariana Reines, Aria Aber, Omar Berrada and Negar Azimi in tribute to the late poet and painter Etel Adnan.
Etel Adnan (1925–2021) was a Lebanese-American poet, painter, and essayist known for her abstract landscapes and powerful writing on war, exile, and identity. Born in Beruit to a Greek mother and Syrian father, she lived and worked between Lebanon, France, and California, becoming one of the most influential voices in contemporary Arab-American literature and art.
