Open Stage / Open Mic Events @ Morningside Heights Library

Welcome to the Open Stage / Open Mic event at Morningside Heights Library! Join us for an afternoon of creativity and talent open but not limited to local artists, poets, musicians, performers and more take the stage. Whether you want to showcase your own skills or simply enjoy the show, this is the place to be. Let your voice be heard and your talent shine in a welcoming and supportive environment. This program is in-person at the Morningside Heights Library, Community Room.

Come and share your heart and artistry collectively at Morningside Height's Open Stage/ Mic. This event will include an open call for performers on a first come, first serve basis as time permits. Participants can share their original work in a time to be announced based off total amount of performers. Space and seating is limited; show up on time ! • This is a library program of young adults/adults gathered to share original pieces and appreciate others’ creative work.
• We share a common goal of appreciating the artistic outlet and experience.
• Participants are welcome with a wide variety of experience in performing their art. If this is your first time or fiftieth time presenting your work, we hope you enjoy and we appreciate your participation.
• Participants agree to respectfully listen and appreciate others’ performances, without interruption, during their allotted time (varies based on participants).
• Participants are able to use instruments, recorded sound, and/or videos and photos; the Open Stage is intended for poetry, musical performances, designers, authors, illustrators, dancers, comedians and more.
