An Evening with Joshua C. Childress

Los Angeles-based saxophonist Joshua Christian Childress brings fire and finesse to the stage with his unique voice in jazz. A decorated soloist and arranger, Joshua has performed with artists like Kelly Rowland, Kamasi Washington, Aloe Blacc, and FINNEAS, and worked with ensembles ranging from Imagine Dragons to the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles. With degrees from Biola and CSU Long Beach, and now pursuing his doctorate at USC’s Thornton School of Music, Joshua is a versatile musician—performer, teacher, and producer—blending tradition and innovation in every note.
