An Evening of Ukrainian Music by Slava Ukraini Winds

Join us for an evening of classical music by Ukrainian composers written for wind quintet with a social after to chat with the musicians.
About this Event

The concert is 90 minutes in total including a 10 minute intermission in the middle. Slava Ukraini Winds is wind quintet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn) based in Saskatoon. The concert is to fundraise to offset our travel costs to perform at an international music festival. A variety of styles of music from classical, folklorism to avant-garde will be performed featuring a world premiere of a new work written for the ensemble. After the concert is a casual social with light refreshments for the chance to chat & ask the musicians questions.
