For over twenty years, Alain Bédard has enjoyed a prolific career as leader of the Auguste Quartet. Having performed on four continents, playing hundreds of concerts in Mexico, the United States, Europe, Russia, Africa, and especially in Canada and Quebec, the quartet is a singular voice of modern jazz specializing in music that tells a story, that breathes, and that evolves. Faithful to its original acoustic roots featuring compositions from all four members, the Auguste Quartet is Erik Hove (alto sax), Marie-Fatima Rudolf (piano), Alain Bédard (bass), and Michel Lambert (drums).
