New sights and sounds, different climates, diverse cultures: this is what we encounter in other lands. The music of strange languages and unfamiliar ways of life both fascinate and disorient. Uncomfortable perspectives on ourselves emerge when we are away from home. Waves of strong emotion reveal latent parts of our souls. Above all, we learn about our connections to the world and to others. We create new bonds while missing loved ones far away. Flamenco Borealis presents Flamenco Odyssey, a live music and dance performance which takes audiences on a voyage through the emotional landscape of the migrant. The powerful language of flamenco dance and music fused with techno beats and opera vocals tells a story of departing from the familiar to the unknown.
