An evening of storytelling, spoken word, and poetry, maybe some music too, with storyteller, poet, and writer Margot Henderson. The theme for the evening is Humanity, in a time when we are needing more humanity and questioning what it means to have a more compassionate sense of humanity.
We have space for contributions from others for this evening. If you would like to tell a story, read a poem, or sing a song that relates to our theme, then please send me a message.
Margot Henderson is a Scots Irish poet, storyteller and community artist. Her work weaves together poetry, song and story, celebrating culture, roots and heritage, affirming our belonging to the natural world. She has performed widely in the UK and abroad, creating performance pieces for festivals, conferences and cultural events. She has produced a number of collections and cd’s of poems, songs and stories.
The entry fee is £5, simply pay on the door.
