We are delighted to welcome Richard Johnstone-Smith to Dark Deer Croft for two fantastic days of training.
Richard is currently British Eventing Lead Coach for Scotland, with over 20 years’ experience coaching riders from grassroots to National level. With a strong foundation in classical equitation and the latest science in equine learning, Richard brings a thoughtful, progressive approach to developing both horse and rider partnerships.
🔹 What’s included:
âś” Lunch
âś” 2 ridden lessons (max 4 per group)
âś” 1 groundwork session
Groups will be split into flat or jump (including simulated XC) depending on your focus. There is also the opportunity to work towards your BHS stages and have books signed off – just let us know when booking.
Richard has supported riders progressing through assessments up to BHSI (Stage 5) and Pony Club A Test, making this clinic suitable whether you're refining foundations or aiming higher.
