An evening of Harmonic Stillness: Yin Yoga supported by Sacred Flute

Experience a magical evening of Yin Yoga, native flute, guitar and sound bowls in a beautifully restored Cathedral. Enjoy amazing acoustics as you melt into your Yin pose while beautiful music fills the air.

What Is Yin Yoga: Yin Yoga Therapy practice invites you to find your edge as we hold poses for longer periods of time, accepting this stillness we activate our fascia and unblock our energy flow, (Chi). The class will include practicing Yin Yoga, meditation and Breathwork.
Instructor: Christopher Ozminkowski a former New York Executive, trading in his suit for a yoga mat, set out to focus his energy on growth and awareness. Over the past few years Chris has been guiding Yoga throughout Indianapolis. Chris studied Yin Yoga Therapy with Alexandra Denkinger M.D. in Goa India. Chris Studied Breathwork at Body of Breath, Costa Rica, and Vinyasa at Awaken Yoga School, Costa Rica. Chris takes his practice once a month to Oinking Acres Farm and Sanctuary where he guides people in yoga while they are surrounded by Goats, pigs, Cats and many other amazing creatures.

Musician: Josiah Helland is a multi-instrumental musician specializing in the native flute. A descendant of the Yaqui and Purepecha Indigenous people, Josiah draws profound inspiration from nature and ceremony. He handcrafts the flutes he plays, infusing each instrument with a deep connection to his heritage and the natural world.
Every year, Josiah ventures to South Dakota to spend time with the Oglala Lakota people, further enriching his musical journey with their wisdom and traditions. His sound experiences are a harmonious blend of sound bowl, acoustic guitar, Native flutes, and other sound makers, creating an immersive and transcendent auditory journey. Josiah's music is not just an art form but a spiritual practice, resonating with the essence of his ancestors and the serene beauty of the earth.
