An Evening of Conversation with Joey Clift

Join us in the Zinema at Zeitgeist in conversation with Joey Clift, a Los Angeles-based, Peabody and Emmy-nominated comedian, TV writer, director, and enrolled member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe. He has written for Spirit Rangers on Netflix, Molly of Denali on PBS, Smartypants on Dropout and Paw Patrol on Nickelodeon, and created Gone Native, a Webby-winning Comedy Central Digital series. Joey Clift's bestselling new book is We’ve Been Here The Whole Time: A Not So Sacred Guide to All Things Native America.
The conversation will be moderated by Joshua Cenyaotl Herron, an animator and storyboard artist whose credits include BoJack Horseman and Bob’s Burgers, to talk about making TV and telling Native stories. Zenith Bookstore will have copies of the book for sale and available for signing.
