Originally trained as a fashion designer in garment construction, draping, and drafting, Monica brought her refined eye for structural design into the quilting world, quickly becoming known across Australia for her innovative, approachable techniques. As the co-creator of the popular sewing studio Pattern Poole alongside her daughter, Monica is passionate about making quilting accessible, stress-free, and purely enjoyable. She has authored The Quilt-as-you-go Companion and shares her signature, clever techniques with a global community of nearly 100,000 YouTube subscribers and thousands of makers worldwide.
