🔹 Bronwyn Kidd - Project Manager, Business Tasmania
Business Tasmania supports business owners at every stage, from starting out to growing and running a business, connecting them with the right (and often free!) support services, including experienced advisors through the Tasmanian Business Advice Service and New Business Support Service. Bronwyn will show you how to access free business advice, key services, and resources and funding opportunities.
🔹 Michelle Grubb - WorkSafe Tasmania
Michelle from the WorkSafe Advisory Service provides a practical, real-world overview of what a PCBU (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) needs to do under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2012, including managing risks, identifying hazards, training staff, and more. She'll also introduce the free, confidential WorkSafe Advisory Service: a bit like a safety check-up for your business.
🔹 Graeme Facy - Fire and Emergency Management Consultant
With 15 years in fire and emergency management (and nearly 30 as a volunteer firefighter!), Graeme has supported industries all over Australia, from aged care and hospitals to schools, shopping centres and sporting venues. He'll share how to prepare your business for emergencies and build resilience through smart planning and risk management.
