Presented by EPIC Southcoast, we bring you not one, but two days of free dance events! Join us Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th for an EPIC Community in Motion event!
Move, connect, and dance with your ancestors as powerful video montages bring the history of each dance style to life.
Video curation and production brought to you by Nick Francis
This festival will be held both days at Gallery X, Inc- 169 William Street New Bedford .
Kick off with a Balance & Swing Contradance featuring caller Paul Wilde- 6:30PM. End the evening with Swing dancing with Hot Club Cheese Roll - 8:30PM - Friday May 29th
Saturday we have a stacked calendar starting with Cape Verdean dance with Amilton Tavares - 3PM
Followed by Breakdancing with 3rd EyE - 5PM
To spice things up, we have Cajun dancing with Gansett Bay Ceili Band - 7PM
A grand finale with the ever popular New Moon Dance Party w/ Andy Anello & Corey Jones- 9PM
This is an event not to be missed , and its 100% free
