An Afternoon with Fairfield County
About this Event
Horse books + Horse farm = Horse lover's dream
Join us for a reading and discussion of Fairfield County, the final novel by DéLana R.A. Dameron, hosted at Chapel Hill Equestrian in collaboration with Flyleaf Books. Dameron is the author of Fairfield County and Redwood Court, a Reese’s Book Club pick and a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice. In 2021, she founded Saloma Acres, a horse farm and cultural space creating opportunities for folks to unwind, connect, and be in communion and community with the natural world primarily through outdoor movies hosted by Luminal Theater.
During In Her Honor, An Afternoon with Fairfield County, we’ll read passages from Fairfield County, discuss Dameron's writing, explore its impact, and spend time with the horses at the farm. Space is limited, please reserve your spot on Eventbrite. Copies of Fairfield County will be available for purchase from Flyleaf Books before and at the event.
All proceeds will support Saloma Acres.
