Aching Back Sunday is back at Kings Raleigh on Saturday, August 29th for an epic celebration of pop punk you won't want to miss. Come get glad AF with us.
🤘🎸 What is a Pop Punk Party?
It’s a full-band, nonstop 4+ hour long performance of 75 of the greatest songs to ever come through the pop punk scene. No DJs. No glowsticks. No karaoke. No breaks for set changes…..just five handsome-ish guys crushing your 2003 playlist until their broken bodies force them off the stage.
We’ll be celebrating the fun parts of the prime pop punk era: the songs, dumb comedy movies, Jackass, the inappropriate humor. 🛹
🔥 We’ve got the biggest bands covered. Blink, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, NFG, Sum 41, Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Bowling For Soup, Panic at the Disco - just to name a few.
🧷 We play a few from the OGs. NOFX, Goldfinger, MxPx, Offspring.
🖤 We’ve got a touch of emo. Taking Back Sunday (yes, we sort of have to), My Chemical Romance, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New.
💿 We’ve got the one hit wonders where you remember the songs but not the bands. Flavor of the Weak, Scotty Doesn’t Know, Stacy’s Mom.
Plus, a few new songs you’ve never seen ABS perform by The Used, Story of the Year, and Thirty Seconds to Mars! 👀
And, of course, the things that you’ll always find at an Aching Back Sunday Pop Punk Party:
🌭 an odd obsession with hot dogs
🍻 drink specials with pop punk pun names
📣 a lot of laughs, some with us and some at us
🤡 our drummer using too many slide whistles and clown horns
Come party with us. Have a few drinks. Sing along all night. Jump, crowd surf, and be irresponsible for a few hours.
