A native Pennsylvanian who arrived in North Carolina via California, Kevin Flinn has been writing songs and playing in bands since his late teens. Having grown up on a steady diet of earnest songwriters like John Prine and Jackson Browne, Kevin’s songs have alt-country leanings peppered with the storytelling influences of Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. He has played in angular rock bands, honky-tonk country outfits, and bluegrass quartets; he currently blends his original songs with covers at bars and breweries throughout the Raleigh area.
